In the concept of German, cross-cultural competence is regarded as an important skill, which can help learners better understand the differences between two cultures and establish mutual cognition. Having this competence can effectively reduce unnecessary misunderstandings and improve their communication efficiency. In college German classes, teachers should realize that cross-cultural communication skills are crucial to the development of students' communicative competence. Therefore, they should strive to improve their teaching methods and make the courses more colorful to help students communicate better in oral.
