The online teaching method has broken through the current tertiary education model, and the teaching method has been expanded in time and space through the application of educational technology. This paper reviews the current status of online teaching in higher education, discusses on how to optimize teaching resources in colleges and universities with the help of modern education technology, and explores online-offline hybrid teaching model.
