Teachers play a pivotal role as key executors and direct stakeholders in the education and teaching of international students in China. Their successful navigation through the digital transformation journey is crucial in determining the seamless digital transformation of education and teaching for international students in China. Based on an in-depth examination of cognitive, technological, and institutional challenges faced by teachers involved in teaching international students in China during their digital transformation, this paper explores pathways to facilitate the digital transformation of the teaching staff for international students in China and puts forth pertinent policy suggestions.
