Abstract

Despite the wide variety of Spanish as a Foreign Language (SFL) textbooks available in China, we still lack a reference framework to analyze the textbooks. Based on existing textbook analysis frameworks and taking into account the characteristics of Chinese students, this paper builds a framework to help teachers objectively analyze textbooks. This framework is organized into three levels: external features, internal structure, and textbook content analysis. This work aims to help teachers analyze textbooks from the overall structure to the details and provide guidance for textbook selection.
